“ In April 2025, we held a birthday party for my mother and sister-in-law at Angelo, a long-established Italian restaurant on Shower Street in Shimodori, Kumamoto City, which was recommended to us. Their signature dish is apparently the soup pie! The meat was also tender and delicious! They recommended pasta and pie stew, which are easy for children to eat. Thank you very much! Then, for dessert, the owner brought out a bavarois. He said, "I made it, so it's called jijiroi lol," which elicited chuckles. If Mom makes it, it's called mamaroi, and if Wife makes it, it's called wiferoi. As expected of the owner, he's used to saying things like that. lol. It's a very friendly restaurant. ”
